Window Box Raccoon: Rethinking Recycling Through Human–Animal Co-Design

This project explores a playful yet critical rethinking of recycling systems through the lens of human–animal co-design. By imagining how raccoons might interact with everyday urban recycling, the design challenges conventional human-centered approaches and opens up possibilities for more inclusive, ecological systems. The “window box” becomes both a site of exchange and a stage for reimagining sustainable practices, highlighting the tension and potential between animal agency and human needs.
